Role Overview
We are looking for a visionary and business-driven AVP – Influencer Marketing to lead the growth, strategy, and operations of the influencer marketing vertical. This leadership role requires a strong blend of business development, strategic partnerships, campaign innovation, and team management. The AVP will be responsible for scaling influencer-led solutions, strengthening client relationships, driving revenue growth, and positioning the organization as a leader in the creator economy.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Strategic Leadership

Define and drive the long-term vision and growth strategy for the influencer marketing business.

Develop integrated influencer marketing solutions aligned with client and organizational goals.

Identify new revenue opportunities, strategic partnerships, and market expansion initiatives.

Build scalable processes, frameworks, and best practices across influencer operations.

Client & Revenue Management

Own P&L responsibilities for the influencer marketing vertical.

Lead strategic client partnerships and act as a trusted advisor for influencer-led brand solutions.

Drive business growth through new client acquisition, upselling, and retention strategies.

Lead high-value pitches, proposals, and integrated marketing presentations.

Campaign & Platform Excellence

Oversee execution of large-scale, multi-platform influencer campaigns across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Snapchat, podcasts, and emerging creator platforms.

Ensure campaigns deliver measurable business outcomes including engagement, conversions, reach, and brand impact.

Guide teams on influencer selection, content strategy, media amplification, and performance optimization.

Monitor evolving creator trends, platform algorithms, and audience behavior to maintain competitive advantage.

Leadership & Team Development

Build, mentor, and lead high-performing influencer marketing, strategy, and account management teams.

Establish clear KPIs, operational efficiencies, and performance management frameworks.

Foster collaboration across creative, media, strategy, content, and analytics functions.

Drive a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.

Industry & Creator Ecosystem Management

Develop strong relationships with top influencers, celebrity managers, agencies, production houses, and digital platforms.

Represent the organization at industry events, creator forums, and client engagements.

Negotiate strategic partnerships, talent contracts, and long-term creator associations.

Analytics & Innovation

Utilize data and analytics to improve campaign effectiveness and business decision-making.

Track key metrics such as ROI, engagement, conversions, earned media value, and client profitability.

Introduce innovative campaign formats, creator commerce models, and influencer technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business Administration, or related field.

10–15 years of experience in influencer marketing, digital marketing, media strategy, or integrated brand solutions.

Proven leadership experience managing large teams and enterprise-level client relationships.

Strong understanding of influencer ecosystems, social platforms, content strategy, and digital trends.

Demonstrated success in revenue growth, business development, and strategic planning.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in digital/media agencies, creator management firms, entertainment networks, or consumer-facing brands.

Strong network within influencer, celebrity, media, and platform ecosystems.

Understanding of social commerce, creator monetization, and performance marketing is a plus.
